Cultural Exchange Programmes and Memorandum of Understanding:
India has Cultural Exchange Programmes (CEP)/ Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with a number of countries and National Archives of India is responsible for coordinating and implementing clauses relating to Archives in the Cultural Exchange Programmes. This involves regular correspondence with concerned agencies of the respective countries, our missions abroad, and submitting quarterly returns to Ministry of Culture on their implementation.

- NAI and National Library and Archives of Iran (MEMORANDUM OF AGREED MINUTES)
- National Archives of India and The National Documentation & Information Centre of Mozambique in the area of archival cooperation.
- A Protocol of Cooperation (PoC) between the National Archives of India and the Presidency of the Council of Ministers of the Portuguese Republic in the field of archives.
- MoU between the National Archives of India and Archives of Yugoslavia of the Republic of Serbia in the Area of Archival Cooperation.
- Memorandum of Understanding between National Archives of India and National Archives of Afghanistan in the field of archives.
